Privacy — the short version (for guests)

Short version for the screen
No account, no tracking
You do not create an account. We place an access pass and one technically necessary cookie in your browser — only so that your images stay attached to you. We measure no usage behaviour, use no advertising technology and do not recognise your device by its technical characteristics.
Your images
Your photos are stored with us and visible to the participants of this event. They belong to you. We do not sell them, do not advertise with them and do not pass them on as training material for AI models.
The AI photobooth
The booth has no camera of its own. You pick one of your own photos that is already in the gallery and say what you would like done with it. That photo and your text go to our AI provider Google, which creates the result as an extra image — your original stays exactly as you took it. This also involves processing outside the EU, mostly in the USA. We do not send your name and not your identifier. Google does not use the images to train its models.
Booth images are labelled as AI-generated in the app.
One automatic check. So that the app knows where it can offer you the AI at all, every photo you upload goes to the same provider right after upload and is checked for two things: is somebody in it, and is it framed widely enough. We keep only the yes/no answer; the provider's reply itself is discarded. This happens only at events for which AI images were booked, and it changes nothing about your photo. Details →
Who can see your images
Everyone who has this event's join code. The code is random and unguessable — but it is not a login. Do not upload anything you would not want to show in that group.
Photos of other people
Only photograph people who agree — for children, ask the persons with parental responsibility. If someone does not want to be in a picture: the Organiser can block individual images immediately, and we delete images on request.
How long
You can reach your images in the app while the event is running. After that your access ends; in the following days the Organiser can send you a share link to download them.
The images of a booked event are stored for at least 30 days after the event ends; on request we delete them within 30 days. Images from the try-it-out mode: 7 days.
Download the images that matter to you while the event is running — Snapories is not an archive.
Your "Save your photos" link
The link is like a key: whoever has it can reach your images. Do not pass it on, do not post it publicly.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection. An email is enough: privacy@snapories.com. Please include the event's join code and the name you used — without an account we otherwise cannot attribute anything to you.
You can lodge a complaint with the Bavarian Data Protection Supervisory Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Poster version for the Organiser
For printing, displaying or the back of the flyer. Together with the linked full text it satisfies the information obligation towards everyone present — including those who do not use the app.
📷 Photos are being taken here
This event has a shared photo gallery via Snapories. Guests can contribute photos with their own phone; everyone who has joined can see them.
There is also an AI photobooth: guests can turn one of the photos they took themselves into a costume image. For this the photo is transmitted to an AI provider (Google), including outside the EU; every uploaded photo is additionally checked there automatically for whether the function can be offered on it. Results are labelled as AI-generated.
Do not want to be photographed, or want an image removed? Tell the Organiser — they can block images immediately — or write to privacy@snapories.com.
There is no face recognition. Images are not used for advertising and not for training AI models.
